With Heimlicher you not only get his amazing studio, great coffee and unreal hospitality - but also one of the most brilliant and creative minds around! Truly an unbeatable experience sonically, musically and personally. It's a very inspiring spot on the map of the world and one of my favorite places to work, I can check in and relax knowing I'm in very capable and trustworthy hands, always!

Beautiful view, good food and coffee at every hour, crazy and great musicians, cats and cows on the grass, exotic compressors and microphones... are things that maybe can be found also in other studios... but just a few can boast the deep passion that Matthias puts in every single detail of a production. And the warmth that you may feel entering the Heimlicher house... This, for me, is the difference between Matthias' world and most other producers.

For the production of my debut album I was searching for a producer who would mix in more than sonic quality. I was looking for someone able to catch the essence of my music and bring it to the point. Matthias Heimlicher was able to fulfill this task with the required sensibility and passion - and furthermore he became a valued friend in my life.

I've met, more than ten years ago, one of the best engineers and producers in Europe in my opinion and I must admit that during my twenty years of career I've never did any producing and recording sessions like at his warm and peaceful place (even the cows around would agree). Matthias Heimlicher is a really great musician, and beyond of his multiple talents, I really appreciate the friend. Can't wait for the next session!

I know Matthias for over 20 years now. We have recorded many, many projects together and I'm a huge fan of his work. I love his sound and his passion for great music and he was involved in some of the greatest musical experiences in my life. When it comes to recording or mixing, he is the guy to work with.

Recording my debut album at Heimlicher's top-notch studio with some of my biggest musical heroes was a unique and unforgettable experience! Everyone involved loved the state-of-the-art gear as well as the warm vibe in the studio, the incredible alpine scenery and the gorgeous hospitality and cooking. I can warmly recommend this gem of a studio!

Matt and I go back a long way, and though we rarely see each other, it's always great to hear about someone who has been keeping his standards through all those years. If consistency and perceverance in the music business are traits of trade, then Matthias definitely has them both. He's been and still seems to be going strong. He most likely would make more money selling cars - but for anybody involved with him, it's more fruitful if he drives his studio console - and by far less dangerous!

To work with Matthias Heimlicher is always a valuable musical journey. I know that all my projects are in safe hands and will be implemented carefully. The ambience and the wonderful surroundings are a unique place to be creative and one has the feeling of being in a world of its own.
